A Loud Introvert

Let me tell you something about me: I grew up very shy.

Up until college, standing in front of my peers made my ears red hot, my face bright pink, my voice shaky, and my palms sweaty. I just don't like that much attention.

I did eventually learn how to talk in front of adults without wanting to dig myself into a hole, but I still find myself more on the introverted side of the spectrum. And it's funny really, because I have such a dynamic personality if I may say so myself.

I am childish as hell. I love to laugh and kid; it's what makes me such a good teacher that I have awesome rapport with my students. I'm easy breezy, except when it comes to people I love. I'm an optimist and an esteem builder. I care a lot about being a young professional, being on time, and being prepared. So much is packed inside of me, and people rarely see it, because I'm shy.

But you know what isn't introverted about me? My work ethic. My academic excellence. And my style.

I love color, and fun prints, and novelty bags, and cat-eye frames. My style allows me to be loud without ever opening my mouth. It expresses how free and fun and light I can be inside, and I love that! (It even fools people into thinking I'm not shy, which I also love.)

Damn that double parked blue car!!!

I mean, if you looked at me, you'd never know I'm only comfortable in front of the camera when my husband is behind it, right?

But how about you? Are you introverted or extroverted? Let me know.

Until next time!

Cordially,

Bianca
